FAQ
What if the weather is bad?
I will try to plan the sessions based on weather forecasts. I don't mind if it is cloudy, it can even soften the light a little bit, but if it is raining, we can reschedule to a date/time that is suitable for both of us.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! I am a dog lover, I have two myself. Bring your four-legged friends to the shoot! If they are a member of your family, I want them to be a part of the portraits.
What should we wear?
The most important thing is to wear something that feels like you—comfortable, confident, and authentic. That said, here are a few tips to help your portraits shine:
- Coordinate, don’t match. Choose a color palette of 2–3 complementary tones (earthy neutrals, soft blues, warm fall colors, etc.). Avoid everyone wearing the exact same outfit.
- Avoid loud patterns or logos. These can distract from your faces and date the photo over time.
- Dress for the location. If we’re shooting at a park, flowy fabrics and casual-to-smart styles tend to work beautifully. For home sessions, cozy textures and natural tones feel warm and real.
- Layers work wonders. Add a jacket, scarf, or textured piece for visual interest.
- Don’t forget the shoes. If they’ll be in the shot, make sure they fit the vibe of your outfit.
When in doubt, feel free to send me outfit options before the shoot—I’m happy to help you choose what will photograph best!
