Why a Professional Headshot Is More Important Than Ever in the Lehigh Valley Job Market
Let’s be honest—your headshot is often the first impression you make, whether you're applying for a job, building your brand, or growing your business. And in a region like the Lehigh Valley, where industries like healthcare, education, tech, and real estate are booming, standing out with a confident, polished image is no longer optional.

Your Online Image Is Your First Handshake
Whether someone Googles your name, looks you up on LinkedIn, or browses your business website, your headshot is often the first thing they’ll see. A professional photo tells people you take yourself—and your career—seriously. On the other hand, a selfie or blurry crop from a wedding photo? That may be doing you more harm than good.

Why People Book Headshots With Me
Over the last few months, I’ve photographed job seekers, entrepreneurs, realtors, therapists, and remote workers—each with a different reason for booking:
- Starting a new job
- Making a career pivot
- Updating LinkedIn or personal websites
- Rebranding a business or launching a new one
- After a layoff, to prepare for what’s next
What they all have in common is the desire to show up confidently and authentically. That’s what I aim to capture in every session.
What to Expect From a Headshot Session
I shoot all individual headshots out of my cozy home studio in Pen Argyl, PA (yes, it's literally a converted garage—but trust me, it works!). Sessions last around 30–45 minutes, with time for outfit changes. You’ll get to review your images in an online gallery and choose your favorite, which I’ll professionally retouch. Additional images are available for purchase if you’d like more than one.
What Should You Wear?
Keep it simple. Solid colors, minimal patterns, and clothes that make you feel confident. Need help deciding? I’ll send you a prep guide before your session with wardrobe tips, grooming reminders, and what to bring along.
